What kind of massage are you looking for?First you have to decide what kind of massage you need. Do you want a massage for relaxation or for therapy?
Therapeutic Massage - With Therapeutic Massage the focus is specific and the intent is to reduce pain and stiffness.
Relaxation Massage - Relaxation Massage does exactly what it says. It relaxes. It relieves stress, increases blood flow and can release toxins from the muscles. With relaxation massage the focus is broad to include all the major muscle groups and the intent is to calm and sooth.
Prescriptive Massage - Prescriptive Massage is Therapeutic Massage recommended by a doctor and billed to your insurance company. This requires that your doctor write a prescription for massage therapy and deem it medically necessary.
Which Therapist should you choose?We have six treatment rooms and currently have 3 therapists working in our group. Each therapist is different and offers varying services, prices, and packages. What can I expect during my first visit?When you first arrive for your massage you will be asked to fill out a Health History Form (or intake form). You can save some time by printing these at your house, filling them out, and bringing them with you on your first visit.
