Massage Therapists cannot practice massage in the state of Florida without a license.
All of our therapists are licensed.

Massage Therapists are required to attend a school that is approved by the Board of Massage Therapy OR complete an apprentice program that is Board approved. All Massage Therapist must pass the National Certification Examination.

There are two licenses that need to be kept current. The Massage Therapy License and the Establishment License. These must be displayed where they can be seen by the patients.

Massage License:
Each therapist is responsible for renewing their license. In order to be able to renew a Massage Therapy license the therapist must complete a required number of Continuing Education hours (CEU's), which includes an education course on HIV/AIDS and a course relating to the prevention of medical errors. All applications for license renewal are reviewed by the Board.

All Massage Licence numbers of all therapists must be displayed in any advertising medium.
